The Cusa quarries 

         In the Campobello di Mazzara are, there is a place where all it seems to have been abandoned (hardly 2400 years ago), for an unexpected event that has forced the workers to leave their activity and, perhaps, to put itself in escape. 

        The Cusa quarries it was in fact the place from where the "rocchi" were gained of cliff that they had to be transports to you to Selinunte.

        The place is highly evocative and mysterious being legacy to the secret of the building of the monumental ones templi, palaces and theatres.

        In the archaeological park, immersed int the greenery, the various ones can be characterized make of working of stones and their transport to the Selinunte neighbor.

        The Cusa quarries it is an angle of the small and modest in order to interest history but absolutely unforgettable world too much for the tourist.
