Ecotourism - Case Colomba 

Scopello

                The Scopello name, from the Arabic term Scoupellos, much similar to the dialectal Scupeddu, that it probably alludes to the faraglioni, splendid rock that refeclt in the intense blue sicialian sea. 

The ancient beam of Scopello is a small given over village in the past to the activity fishery, of which they remain the vestigia in the Tonnara, place on a height that dominates one splendid marine scene, today national monument.

To its inside, in the able warehouses,you can be admired  muciare,  palischermi,  caicchi, sciabiche, the small boats, the caiques, the sciabiche, all boats used for the peach of the tonno, and the delicious one little church. 
 

The heart of the characteristic village is Neptune Public square, flanked of the high settecentesco wall that recinge the "garden of the king" to whose center finds a bevaio in stone, can be admired the Isonzo Beam, of settecentesca origin. For the tourist the pause from mrs.

Anselmo cannot lack, where it will be able to be savoured the sapori of the pane cunzatu (flavored), a warm bread, cooked in firewood furnace, with oil of olive, anchovies, origano, tomato and caciocavallo.
