Ecotourism - Case Colomba 

San Vito Lo Capo

              Ancient seafaring Village, today one of the spiagge beautifulr of the western Sicily. The ancient village, of tradition duffle-coat, has been developed around to the ancient fortress saracena, subsequently transformed in Sanctuary dedicated to Saint Vito.

             The legend narrates that the task to found the country came entrusted to Crescenzia Saint and Saint Vito which, but, had to hold faith to a pact: not to turn itself never behind during the distance. Crescenzia saint, reached near the place where today she rises one cappellata to she dedicated (to goal of pilgrimage of the pigghiati ‘i scantu), turned and divenne of stone; Saint Vito, instead, teminate the mission that it had been entrusted. 

             The clime, the beach, the sea, the adorned alleys of flowers, the fresh fish, the intense scents and its panoramas offer to the tourist the occasion for one unforgettable vacation.
